Went to Festishcon 2014 convention last year in Tampa for the first time and had a great time. They moved it to St. Pete downtown Hilton for 2015 and expected to have the same if not greater time this year. Today was the first full day of exhibitors and classroom sessions. Everyone was extremely disappointed and upset about such a disappointing experience. The exhibit hall was a fraction of the space and of course, with far less number of vendors. No presenter showed up for the class we went to and when a group of us went to the registration desk to complain, no one there was even keeping track of what presenters showed up and which ones were no shows. It was news to them. Not going back for the rest of this weekend and certainly not buying tickets for next year's event. |
