You must feel sorrow in order to understand joy.
To understand love, you must have known hate.
For every experience we acquire, we experience it through the eyes of someone else..
For we are no longer who were were even a moment ago.
I must suffer, in order to treasure anything worth that pain.
Whether my suffering is for myself, or another.
I know this.
These things ARE worth it.
If I have faith in nothing else,
This I believe.***
I have expectations of certain people, expectations that must be met in order to receive my care.
You must understand that when you accept the responsibility of caring for someone or something, you accept all that comes with it, good or bad.
To be dominant is not enough, to be caring is not enough. You must be caring enough to be dominant when needed, and self confident enough to know when you need to care more than control.
These are all simple truths rarely realized in this community as I have seen and experienced it.
