| After some serious soul searching and much deliberation, I have come to accept who and what I am at face value. I am a sub at heart and I want to learn to embrace that for all that it is worth. I also believe myself to be slightly masochistic, but I do not have any idea as to the details of that since I've not explored it with anyone. Yet.
I have very little experience in the BDSM lifestyle and am not looking for an immediate 24/7 relationship of any kind. First and foremost, I am looking for people with experience and knowledge that they are willing to share. I've done a lot of research into what I might be interested in, how to keep safe, what kind of things I should look out for, etc, etc. At the risk of sounding a little cocky, I'm not a flaming moron and do not have a problem telling someone I think they might be. ;)
I am open to talking online, phone chats, with an eventual goal of meeting if we both feel it would be a good thing. Ultimately, I want to find someone who is able to meet my needs AND who's needs I can meet as well. If both pieces aren't there, then it is no fun for anyone. I completely understand that there are a lot of...less than savory people out there. People who just want to mess with your email, your head, your life. I'm not one of them, but I wouldn't expect that to be taken at face value. C'mon...not an idiot, remember?!? ;)
Most important to me, right off the bat, is to be able to talk to someone. I believe this lifestyle choice to be a journey and the journey is so much more important than the destination. I would love to meet someone with a similar philosophy and level of open mindedness that allows both of us to skip merrily down the trail of exploration and discovery. Communication is in my Top 5 List Of Important Things.
