I will truthfully never understand the rationale of ghosting someone out of nowhere.  If youre not interested in continuing an ongoing conversation with someone you've been chatting with, it takes no effort to simply say so.  Let the other person know so that you can both move on, rather just ditching and disappearing.  Common courtesy isnt rocket science.
