I always had Dom/Master tendencies and experimented (and many relationships suffered when I did not continue to pursue those predilections). I'm not Gorean. If you need a literary reference for my philosophy, look to Petruchio and Kate in Taming of the Shrew. I am looking for the lady as component to this Lord, and I expect behavior and intellect to be suitable with that. I seek an elegant woman who is a lady in public and otherwise in private.
For me, this is more a mental matter and of having control through psychology, although physical punishment is used to enforce or reinforce it. Still, I do not damage my property and don't respect those that damage theirs. The end result is for you to obey, not for me to destroy you.
I have trained before and am now looking for a slave, TPE a possibility. But I am looking for a real life situation and assume it will be long term, if not permanent. Duties will include not just making me happy but occasional assistance in my business. Although I always had Dom/Master tendencies and experimented, my refinement occurred via a political mentor. He came from old money and, when he entered a room, his very presence informed others that not only did he have no superiors, he had very few equals. He did this without the need for props or contrived costumes.
Sensing in me a kindred spirit from more humble origins (but of good education and innate intelligence), he directed me in matters of politics, arts, society, business and stewardship. It wasn't until months later that he indicated his sexual nature, and then it was as equals discussing a new acquisition, much as when he shared news of his acquisition of a new work of art or of another book contract. He never inquired about my sexual preferences but assumed that providing verbal examples would refine my innate nature and that I had the intelligence to understand the implications fully and pursue my own path -- which I did beyond the trite examples of violence and exhibitionism that seem prevalent.
Although I had a rudimentary knowledge of the subjects he tutored me on, I grew most in my understanding of stewardship -- that it is incumbent on those in superior positions or with power or money to oversee, guide and care for those under them, as well as care for social institutions and for what needs attention. Stewards improve matters. Fools and the weak show power by destroying.
I have no patience for fools who don't care for their property or don't take care of those under their auspices. This includes distaste for people who physically/permanently damage other human beings, even those that willingly place themselves into subjugation
Some here have asked me to write more about myself and what I am looking for. I hope this serves that purpose.
