BDSM has been my life since I was in my early 20s. Although I have switched on rare occasions, I have always been on the dominant side. I have owned a number of slaves in real life and played with many, many people over the years.
I have always been fascinated by control. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than someone willingly doing my bidding without question. It's very easy to do that when the person is with you. They can see me and I them. They can be constantly observed, monitored, instructed, corrected and, if necessary, punished.
Can a similar level of control be obtained when the submissive is not present, for example when they are controlled via the internet, and when the controller is anonymous to them? I believe that it can.
In both situations, the real key is that the submissive has to be willing to obey. If they are not, then there is no control, regardless of whether the submissive is in the presence of the dominant or not.
The only difference is that submission can perhaps be forced when the dominant and submissive are together.
For me though, the biggest turn on is the willingness to submit without the need for force. The submission is given, rather than taken.
I would, however be interested in using hypnosis, either textual or audio, to aid submission.

*Why do I expect photos?
I am not interested in cybersex or erotic fiction. I need to know that my instructions have been carried out. Just telling me they have is not good enough. I am willing to agree terms of photo sharing (e.g. no face/blurred face) if need be, but I am not willing to just "take your word" that something has been done.
I am not after fap-fodder. If I want to see rude photos I can easily find that online. There are, it seems, a lot of guys on here who only want pics to fap to - I guess they are too stupid to Google "amateur porn"- and I know that is why a lot of people say they aren't willing to send photos. For me though, I need evidence that my instructions are being carried out, so photos won't necessarily be of your naked body. They are just as likely to be of the clothes you wear, the locations you visit, tasks that have been completed etc.
