| Have you ever dreamed of living in a repressive authoritatian country? Cold war Russia, perhaps, or modern-day North Korea? Could you stomach being woken at dawn and forced to spend two hours chanting devotions to your Dear Leader, and yelling curses at the evil imperialist west (and all other Enemies Of The State)?
Well, now you can! (*)
I am the "Leader" of a tiny little "country". Because of its small size - a handful of houses and other bits of land - it has escaped the notice of the international diplomatic community.
This suits us rather well, because the Universal Declaration of Human Rights frowns on "slavery and the slave trade" and takes a dim view of "torture or... cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment".
And unlike those losers Stalin and Kim Jong-Il, I can actually afford to feed and clothe my citizens!
(*) I'll be working in mainland Europe for the rest of 2011, so I don't plan to start recruiting seriously until the New Year.
