Im very happy that the Boston issue has been resolved by very capable and professional law enforcement...in combination with the good people that live there.
Each time I hear the name Boston ..I think of a wonderful girl that I knew and loved. I hope that she and her loved ones were not hurt in the attack. Further, I know that if they werent ...they did everything the could do to help.

I attended the funeral of a 4 year old.

We tend to think that these things are an extension of ourselves and that they become a representative sample of our personality and what we are about.
If those things are taken away, and one is left with nothing, what does one have? Nothing but yourself. With all of the outside sources of influence, or posture gone, we are all equal in the scope of humanity.
The people of Haiti have lost all of their earthly possessions. Not that they had much to begin with, but the only thing they have left is their humanity. Consider that, when you think you absolutely need a new vehicle, house, that special wine, that wonderful toy..etc. Beyond that, think of how blessed you are to walk into a grocery store that has food, or water to drink...etc.
