It's looking more and more likely that My current roommate will be moving out at the end of next month. This means either higher costs in My life (associated to moving into a new apartment), or higher risks in My life (associated to breaking in a new roommate). Neither prospect is very appealing. I just hope I can keep the fridge... |

So I guess it's time for another journal entry from your friendly neighborhood Dom (TM). Well, things are starting to finally get back to normal. February was a tough month for a lot of people close to Me. This consequently made My life a bit more difficult/complicated than I would have preferred. But, we're coming up on spring. Time for the birds and the bees and all that spectacular stuff.
This weekend was spent without My slave (though we got together for a bit before the weekend, it just wasn't the same). While I still managed to have an enjoyable weekend, it would have been enhanced with her presence. My roommate and I got to spend some quality time together, though, and I was really grateful for that.
It is My immeasurable hope that in the future, My slave and My roommate will soon be interacting in a way where I (and consequently, they) can have the best of both worlds. :)
PS Went to quite possibly the BEST sushi place in LA last night! ^^ |

Valentine's was one of the best I've ever had. My slave...*whew*...beyond words! Her new shoes are killer! XD
This weekend, it's up to Santa Barbara. Slave and I will be getting a hotel room and keeping the hotel maid busy changing those sheets every day! Though, I suppose we SHOULD get out of the hotel every now and then, since I've never been to SB! |

Been over 2 weeks since I put a journal entry up, so here goes...
Still looking for a job. Seems things actually ARE tough out there. Maybe I'm being too picky? I'd like to see this as an opportunity to find a job I'd really love, rather than just taking the next thing to come along because it beats sitting at home and dicking around. The last job I had paid well, but the work was just so interminably repetitive. I'd like to avoid that.
On the kink side of life, everything is going absolutely fantastic. With the exception of a peppering of parental pestering (say THAT 5 times fast!) on the part of my slave, I really couldn't be happier. There's no drama, no games, and despite her surface-level child-likeness, she has to be one of the most mature women I've ever been with. Or maybe it's just that she's so accomodating/agreeable to Me, and I'm mistaking that for maturity... ^_^ |

These last 5 days have been exhaustingly wonderful. After 4 weeks away from LA, My little girl and I spent lots of quality time (interspersed with short naps) catching up with each other. :)
She is quite possibly the most fantastic girl I've ever been with, and her submission is a genuine gift that I treasure every day.

Well, the last leg of the journey is about to commence. Flying up to Cairns tomorrow for my Great Barrier Reef adventure, then fly back to Sydney then Hawaii on 1/11. Banzai!! |

Been in Australia for a week now, and am having a BLAST. Yesterday, I drove on the left hand side of the road for the first time, and did it for over 6 continuous hours!
What did I learn? Well, you have to stay closer to the right of the lane than you might think. It's the whole car-perception change when the wheel is on the other side of the car, I guess. Also, I HATE ROUNDABOUTS!! Uhhh, they just suck. Especially when you're learning to drive a completely new style of vehicle on the opposite side of the road!

Well, here I am in Sydney, Australia! My first impression when I got off the plane? The young men here are gorgeous. There was a trio especially that was at one of the internet kiosks at the airport that I swear were porn stars. Young, toned, and yummy. I'd put money on them being Bel Ami boys or something. Ah but I digress...
Checked in last night and headed straight for Sydney Harbour. Took lots of great shots of the Bridge and Opera House, and ran into some really great people along the way (the benefit of travelling alone is that it forces you to be social!). Everyone I've met here has been absolutely spectacular and hospital, it's surreal (an older, local couple gave Me their home # in case I "needed anything")! Spectacular! |

This weekend was absolutely fantastic! I'm getting to know and train an absolutely incredible submissive, who's first experience with public play was also this weekend. I absolutely love breaking her in, and the affection she shows constantly makes Me smile.
It's so strange that the trip I've been looking forward to for so long is going to feel so different than I originally expected. Sure, I'd be on my own, but I was already on my own so why not do it in the land down under for 2 weeks? That was the point of it all. Freedom. But now I am so eager to get back and spend more time with boku no chisaii tatsuslut.
Thinking back on the weekend, though, I'm a bit sad that I didn't get to see a lot of people from My group at PA (slave auction at Dragon's Gate, oh well), but that is almost an afterthought...

Got My 10 day's notice on Wednesday, so looking for a new line of work now. From what I gather, most companies likely won't be hiring until around January though, but I'm still going to get my resume out there right away. At least I've got Australia to kick back with and enjoy.
Despite this, I got one of the best night's sleeps I've had in a long time last night. Worked out some big unanswered questions in my personal life, and in spite of the joblessness, I feel so much lighter now. |

Ummm...Australia trip planning is coming along nicely...just have to get my PADI certification so I can go Great Barrier Reef diving! Just 2 more months 'til vacation time! God I can't wait to escape LA (and by that I mean life) for a while and just BE on the other side of the planet! |

Oh the moving day countdown has begun! Although I was dumb enough to move during the 4th of July weekend (i.e. no real opportunity to use my friends as slave labor, pun intended), I'm still excited to be moving away from the traffic of downtown LA, and closer to the beach. Unfortunately, this also means being further away from the LA night life, and will have to drive should I want to participate in any of the lovely LA/Hollywood activities. Guess I should stock up at Pleasure Chest before the 4th... |
