| I'm new to Collarme and I'm curious to see what there is to take from this experience. I'm a lifelong Dom that became much more comfortable with my dominant side over the last three years or so. I enjoy meeting people of a like mind from all over the world but I'm really looking for a submissive that is local, or able to become local, to me. I have some fairly opinionated thoughts on what a "good" Dom should be and how they should behave. I'm curious if I'm in the majority or not and would like to hear from others on the subject.
Bondage and discipline are definitely turn on's for me but there are many contrasts and complexities in a good Dom/sub relationship. I expect my sub genuinely benefit from my care and guidance. Gifts to her would include inner strength, clarity of mind, physical gratification to name some. A good sub serving and pleasing me allows me to be a better person. As I grow so should she. While subservient to me she should not bow down to others (without my permission). She should aspire to conduct herself when out in the world with a grace and confidence that will make me proud. Though I am the dominant, the sub is the foundation that loves and supports me. Ultimately the Dom/sub are a team. While some of my lessons and pleasures may be challenging for her she will ALWAYS know that she can trust me and that I will protect her.
