Because I know who I am,
Im at ease and free.
I cant be like others,
And they cant be me.
Ive got fading scars,
An unusual physique,
But it all works together
To make me unique.
Ive got hidden strengths,
Some obvious flaws.
Still I am who I am,
For better, for worse.
I dont have to blend in
I wont live a lie.
I cant please everyone
I wont even try.
Some call me proud
Others stare at me in alarm.
But Im not one to bother,
Because I know who I am.
