New to the area, not to the lifestyle. I am seeking those that are looking to be trained, educated, loved and supported. I am looking for friendship, conversations, new ideas to absorb and everything in between with someone that understands and appreciates the fact that they will be with an Dom that expects the respect and servitude due to him, once it is earned. if you are looking to be uplifted by a natural Alpha who is in shape and full of life, then we should talk as well. There is a time for everything. If you are looking to just play, thats fine too. After being on here for a few months, I have noticed a trend in almost all aspects and elements of this site. There seems to be of course the scams. But there are also those that claim to be subs or slaves but then as you read through their profile, its anything but that. Its one thing to have preferences and limits. Its another to have almost an entire profile of lists of things and concepts that you wont go near, the respect or other quals the other person MUST give prior to you contacting them and/or some jaded perspective of what you think your connection should be...before you even made it. I understand that there are probably a lot of you that have had very bad relationships that lingered or resembled to being in this lifestyle. However, taking those wounds and using them like a security blanket as you posit your self as a sub, switch, slave or ANYTHING else, is honestly, very unattractive. Have your limits, have your preferences, have your memories of things you dont want to do again and fantasies of the aspects you long for now. That is normal and a great starting point. Understand that EVERY relationship is different because you are a different person than the last and you are dealing with a new person from the last that hurt you. Claiming that you are a DOM,SUB,SWITCH, SLAVE or MASTER is a combination of several factors of a person. The most important of those is self-awareness. While each person has their own interpretation of the labels and lifestyles above, I would encourage any of you to look at what you listed you are, then re-read the info you put into your profile piece. Being truthful to yourself will save heartache, embarrassment and time for all parties involved.
