| I will answer polite messages only, I am a real human being and do have many things that I am involved in other than this website. If you send me a thoughtful communication you can expect to receive one back even though it may take me a little to get back to you.
As the form part of my profile says, I am seeking friends only, I do not mind any user getting to know me for the sake of intellectual discourse. Do not message me looking to be abused. Dominance is not about abuse it is about looking into another person and seeing the things that they can or will not and helping to bring them to the surface.
I am a lifelong learner. I pick up a subject that interests me and dive into it. I have been into computers since I was a kid. My first computer was a Commodore 64 when I was about 10. I remember when Yahoo was just a search engine and when Livejournal was a project. I I run Ubuntu 10.10 I have been participating in on-line communities since approximately 1995 and therefore have a very developed and classic view of net etiquette. I believe that online friendships can be positive and rewarding if there are balance and boundaries, just like any other relationship. I proudly define myself as a geek.
I have also been learning psychology off and on since I was a kid, abnormal psych is a specific interest of mine. I study human behaviour and have considered formally studying criminal and aberrant psychology in order to seek a career in behavioural analysis with the government. I am current pursuing a degree and look forward to pursuing a degree in linguistics and one in computer science after the two degrees and I am working toward now.
I am intensely interested in languages and try to pick up as many as I can. I sign ASL.
I am also a photographer, which means I literally look at the world in a different way than most people.
I am also hyper-sensory, which means that I am more sensitive to light, sound, taste, smell and touch. My memory is eidetic and the rational side of my being is what I use to relate to the outside world. I am very straight forward, I said what I mean and rarely hold back.
I consider myself an expert at nothing since there is so much in this world to learn.
