| I have been kinky as far back as I can remember. Even in my preteen years my fantasies involved bondage and this was way before I was exposed to porn of any kind, so I believe that my kinkiness is innate. In fact, the sex was already kinky when I lost my virginity in high school!
I grew up half way across the world and moved to the US at age 22 to attend graduate school in engineering. I am quite active in the Boston local scene and use the same scene name 'BeeDee'.
Along my kink journey, I have finally realized that the best label to describe me is a 'switch'. Although I lean more towards the submissive side.
There are varied levels of involvement of the lifestyle in the BDSM scene. And I respect the "live it 24/7" crowd for doing what they enjoy. For me BDSM is purely sexual and so I dom/sub only in bed or during a scene. Outside of that I like to be sans roles i.e. be equal partners. I have no desire to control or be controlled outside of the bedroom/a scene.
