Getting ready for Halloween weekend, already.

First I was going to go and see Niel Young at Madison Square Garden; have a weekend in the city in September, and go to Tampa for Guavaween in Ybor. However, I happened to look at the lineup for Voodoo music fest in NOla, and saw that Niel Young is playing with Crazy Horse along with Jack White, and my particular interest: Bootsy Collins from Pfunk along with alot of others. Then for Halloween Primus in Atlanta.

Christopher Rices' benefit party the Vampires ball is of course that weekend too. Last time I went was in 2010 when Ozzy Osbourne played. That was a blast for sure.

Its hard to imagine as I sit here the amount of concerts I ahve seen in my life. Starting with my parents in the 70s I saw the Grateful Dead and the WHO in 76, Zeppelin in 77, and Pink Floyd in 78. I hope in time to have some company on my journeys. I miss the pleasure of sharing these experiences with someone I truly love.

The first half of my life has been an amazing adventure mixed with alot of fun and alot of tregedy. I truly wish for the second half of my life to find a woman about seven to ten years younger than myself to hopefully settle down with and attempt that mythological happily ever after. I would like now to have a child with a woman, and be settled again. I miss that. Well, as settled as a man like me ever gets I suppose.I feel deep down that I am finally ready to give that much of myself to another individual again. The reason why I say seven to ten years younger is solely for the purpose of child rearing and such, well that and being old enough to know what they want in life, but  young enough to still have the strength and health to pursuit those dreams.

I find it amusing the stygma behind a man my age living at home. Yes, I live at home with my mother, for the last two and a half years. I lost my house after getting laid off from welding in 2007, and it took me until last September to find another job, which is at a Hotel; working in the Banquet Department. I am proud of the fact that I was able to help my mother in her time of need. I could have taken my unemployment and moved in with someone else, but I figure I owed it to her for all the help she has given me over the forty years of my life. It has allowed me the opportunity to heal and grow as an individual as well.

When women find out you live at home, its like Oh well LOSER! They seem to think I have never lived a life of my own before. I have lived more of a life in thye forty years of living on this Earth than most have in twice that time. After travelling for 7 years with the MC it been a very healing experience and humbling experience to have been under my mothers roof again. Alot of the anger and angst I had from travelling with the club and the tough guy persona you have to maintain to live that life is now at rest. Thanks Mom I needed that.

The Fetcon after party was fun last night. I dressed in my best black suit and donned my Baphomet black leather mask. I danced and flirted, and was flirted with. Unfortunately nothing came of the flirtation. There was one show in particular that was nice. a fashion show with hook suspension hanging. The DJs were on point.

There are times when I hate going to things like that. I always go alone, and leave alone. Its getting to be a bit frustrating.

Bonnnaroo was AMAZING. Saturday I spent all afternoon at the which tent. Bad Brains played then Flogging Molly, PUSCIFUR, and Glenn Danzig and Doyle Von Frankenstein performing Misfits was Aaa-MAZE-ING. I was front and center for that. I got to High five Glenn Danzig, and when he called out for playlist suggestions I was the one calling the show. it was GREAT! Radiohead was ok but really I dont see the hype. Red hot chili peppers were good but the sound guy had the amps down real low so you couldnt really hear very well from back field. Phish was well you know Phish. When you see one band 119 times now it ceases to amaze.

so many things to catch up on. I dont really have alot of time these days to spend indoors on a computer. Ahh my new motorcycle. 1998 Sportster 1200 XLH Custom. I love it. It is more my size than the 1650 I had. I am not that big of a guy. Nope not there either.

Welding is picking back up again. I still dont have an appointment contract yet but at least there is something to apply for now.

I just got back from seeing the remenants of the Grateful Daed ( FURTHUR), and the Allman Brothers Band at Wanee festival. It was AMAZING!

Getting ready for Bonnaroo. Thats about it.
