In the morning we find you at the foot of the bed, sleepy eyed, cuddly, ready to please us. Breakfast is ready (by you) when my boyfriend and I step out of the shower. We give you a hug and a kiss. You wait on your knees to be fed from our fingers like a beloved puppy at the table.
You may speak, but I prefer you bark. Like a cute little dog. If you must say something, you can nuzzle my knee and ask first. After breakfast, my boyfriend and I will work, either at home or outside of the home. You assume your daily chores: Clean up after breakfast, scoop the litter box, brush the cats, dust, clean the bathroom, cook dinner.
Your grooming routine is to be done out of sight and at your owner's convenience (we will give feedback). We might give daily assignments such as go on a 30-minute run, which you trust us to be the best thing for you, and we trust that you actually do it. You wear what we tell you to wear, buy the groceries we tell you to buy. You will do laundry (maybe by hand) and properly care for our clothes. Your days will be busy and full of devotion, and full of learning new skills to please both your owners. We are also busy, working toward ruling the world.
When we come home you greet us at the door on your knees. Dinner will be yours on the floor from a pretty doggy bowl, eaten with your cute tush in the air. Our favorite thing is to see you act like a sweet little puppy, always presenting yourself.
We might ask you to please us after dinner, at bed time, at any time. The important part is that you listen to us and do as we wish. After your new owners are fully pleased and asleep, then you may lay at the edge of the bed (maybe a separate cot) until next morning. If our lunches are not made for the next day, you will do that first.
If you wish, you can be our darling little toy provided you are full of real respect and deference to your new owners. Our toy is not to assume any other responsibilities or decision-making other than what kind of oil to use in the pan, or what cleaning agent to use on the floor.
