These profiles always seem so difficult to write. It is hard to encapsulate oneself purely in text, but I shall try. I am a Philadelphia-based event promoter, though the events I am involved with range from Atlanta to Boston, and as far west as Chicago. I am primarily involved with The Aviary (monthly Philadelphia fetish play party), Diabolique (annual Philadelphia fetish charity party), Dorian's Parlor (quarterly Philadelphia steampunk party), Dracula's Ball (quarterly Philadelphia, goth party), The Anachronism (quarterly New York City steampunk party), various Jeff Mach Events (Wicked Faire, Steampunk World's Faire, Geeky Kink Event), Philadelphia Zombie Events (Zombie Crawl, Zombie Prom, and Zombie Beach Party), as well as Divine Decadence, InterventionCon, and others. I also occasionally book shows for local venues, such as Cafe Fulya in Philadelphia (a truly lovely place with a delightful staff). Outside of that, I am a first generation immigrant to the United States. English is my third language, and I take no small amount of pride in my ability to use it with a fair amount of effectiveness at times, even when it does frustrate me. I am a heart transplant recipient (7 years and counting), a part time MBA student, DJ, professional Jesus impersonator, and general all around guy. Most of the time, I am working. When I want to relax, I tend to go on cooking or baking sprees, and pride myself on being able to work around various food sensitivities, allergies, and other restrictions, and still creating food that tastes amazing. Relationship-wise, I currently am in two, stable, long term relationships. This account was created partially out of a desire for something a bit different, and partially due to seeing some of the truly ridiculous e-mails friends of mine received on here. While I am actively seeking someone new to be involved with, I most likely will not message out, given not only the amount of e-mails I have seen my female friends receive, but also because there is a limit to how much I will use my cisgendered, white, male privilege in what basically amounts to an interstitial space. If you follow that and approve, and want to start a dialog about that (or about the placement of commas within that sentence), I am happy to discuss without expectation of anything beyond discussion and, hopefully, friendship. I also realize that by creating this wall of text, I may have essentially erased any hope of having anybody reach out to me, but, if so, it will be a valuable learning experience. Lastly, the initial pictures I have in my profile are both of the historical character, Cyril Flower, the Baron Battersea, whom I look frighteningly like.
