Currently in classes for Linux systems administrator. I will see where things go after that. Classes will end in mid June.

It's been 6 weeks since my second lay-off this year. I am looking into retraining to become a Unix Systems Administrator. Right now I plan on talking to those in that field to see if this is a good fit for me. Always hard to think of a new career path after 7 years of fraud analyst work.

Sadly the schedule for the lady who subbed to me has gotten too complicated and our time together has become VERY limited. I don't know if I can call her my sub. She is a sub that I do things with now as time permits. If I meet someone else and we do click then that may be the end of this other relationship.
For now I am seeking new play partners, lovers, etc and hope to find a good fit for something long term.

I have done much exploration and learning since having joined this website. I have been fortunate enough to have some very good experiences with people in the local BDSM community and have had opportunity to play with a few of them. My last relationship (which was kinked, but not D/S) ended on good terms (and we can be good references for each other).
I have met a lovely young lady on here whom I am playing on a regular basis. She is Poly and married, and therefore I am not the primary in her relationship. I do not see that as something I want right now, but that may change in time.

Saturday was the first play party at a new space in the Southbay. The only person I knew that I could get to come with me that night was my roommate. He's cool and all but not exactly a play partner for me.
I did have fun and meet a lot of new people and make new friends which is important. I don't play with random people and most people there are not playing with random people either.
The best part of the experience was volunteering and helping to make it happen. This helps me at the ground level become part of a community. I feel more actively involved and a part of things rather than coming into a clique of people. We'll see how things go.
I am still looking for the right person to bond with and have a relationship with. Whether she is collared to me or not is up in the air. We shall see.
The good thing is that I saw electrical play for the second time and I really... REALLY am interested in learning more about it.
