More about my home. We live deep in the woods, and have a big place. Three generations on the same property. Today I decided to start writing in the journal. Just so others could get a better idea where I am coming from. We live up in the mountains, far away from the city hub bub. Peaceful and quiet. Very healing. We are building a healing retreat sanctuary for invited guest to come and heal their mind body and soul. No religion, just simple earthy spirituality . I have been a card reader for 30 years, and became a Reiki Master. I was a mistress for only 5 years, but was told I was a good one. Do to personal reasons, I dicided to give it up. However, I miss it so much. I miss having a female companion to share my work with. I dream of the day I will find that right lady that wants to become my apprenticed and helper. I have a vass knowledge of so much more than just the lifestyle.
I was born deaf in one ear and can't hear out of the other, not very well. And by the time I was 50, it was all gone but 7% . So I got the cochlear implant. That got me my hearing back even better than what I was born with. However, talking on the phone is still very difficult . That turns people off. But there is nothing I can do about it. I am totally deaf when I take the transmitter off to my implant. Even when I wear it, I still need to read lips in certain circumstances . But my disability, I believe, has given me a gift of intuitive instincts, that gives me an edge. Almost mystical . |
