First began actively exploring this part of myself around December of 2010 after a divorce. I've had good and bad experiences but have learned from them all. I took 2013 off to learn to take care of myself so I'd know better what I truly needed. Now I am getting two businesses off the ground (I make dream catchers and design print material but my passion is for writing. I am a published author). For a year I worked at a job that destroyed my moral so I decided this was the best route for me.
You can walk away from this lifestyle for a time but if it is your nature then you will be back. I'm wiser, more educated and not easily manipulated. I have a strong personality, though when I submit I do so completely.
I've come close to finding HIM, I mean dang close. And if what I have experienced is even a tenth of what it will be like when I do then it's all worth it.
(I need to mention that I cut on occasion. This is not a kink it's an emotional need that I myself do not fully understand. I don't do this often just when I can't deal with my own b.s. so do not think this means I am into cutting or blood play or needles, I am not. I mention it because it is part of who I am and anyone getting to know me needs to understand it.)

"You fucking me makes me bilingual" : I never really listened to the lyrics of this song before, just the chorus. Someone sent me this link and for the first time I listened to the words and wow! So, it goes on this list :)

"Like A Prayer" : (Lyrics) -- Listen to the words. The song, to me; speaks about a Master calling his "child" out of the darkness. It's about submission as she "pleases" him. "I have no choice I hear your voice. Feels like flying (subspace)."

"A Little Bit Stronger": This song speaks to the breaking heart. Vanilla or submissive the pain of losing someone you love and have invested time and trust in is the same.
