I've talked to another Dom the other day and he thought how amusing it was that many submissves always complain about so called Doms and Masters that are all talk but nothing.
Although there are significant amount men who claimed to be Dominant they often failed to listen to a woman and her needs especially emotional needs. A Dom must understand that HE needs to come from a position of power and he should let the women choose who she wants to be submissive with. That demonstrates connection and the relationship will unfold from there.
Furthermore Doms and Masters needs to understand that they have responsibilities over these women since these women are surrendering their vulnerability as well their most intimate parts of their personalities and therefore need to be sheltered.
However I do agree there are also women who claimed to be submissive but haven't done their homework on what a true submissive is. Many women will seek out for Dominant men only to play games or to disappear out of the blue.
It is safe to say that these type of women just want to live a short fantasy or experience the thrill in taking a glimpse of the lifestyle while playing games and enjoying the flirt but when the time comes to be serious they either start giving excuses or they vanish.
This shows there is a great amount of immaturity from both sides which on the long can affect seriously affect those who are actually seeking out D/s relationships.
Both Doms and submissive need to understand and know their roles as well as their responsibilities towards each other. Additionally it is also important to screen out potential posers may it be Dom or submissive because they are seriously ruining the dynamics that many are seeking here. |
