Now is a time of change. Now do we leave the light and enter the darkness. Yet we do so gladly, for we know it to be but the turning of the Wheel.
At this time off the year the gates between the worlds are open. We call upon our ancestors, our loved ones, to pass through and join with us at this time.
We invite them to delight in celebration with those they love

I have been hiding, trying to avoid all contact with the world, and doing a credible job of it. And then out of nowhere, one day there you were, like an unavoidable beacon, and everywhere I go, no matter how much I struggle to put you out of my mind, no matter how far I go to stay away, there you are. I see you in the stars, in the water, in my dreams, in the air around me. I want to exorcise you form my mind but its no use. I can't make you go away and I have realized that this is a good thing.

True love is when the connection between two people is so intense that it threatens to drain one's sense of self. You feel that you have always known the other person, that they have always been a part of yourself, that their needs are your own.

You look so beautiful to me, but it isn't only the way you look, its what's inside you, everything from your intelligence and courage, to your wit. I would slay a dragon, if there were such a thing, just to see you smile. I know I will never want anyone else for as long as I live. I would rather spend the rest of my life alone than with someone else. There can be no one but you.

There is no reason for love. It just is. And when its there, it endures, even when it should not. Even when you try to make it go away. It's hard to make it die. I've learned it's also unnecessary - and unwise. It only lessens you for it. So you accept it. You lock it away. You let it stay. You don't deliberately kill love. You just don't act on it.

The past is a corridor of doors one leaves open, never meaning to close them. Never close a door you don't have to, in the hope that things will be right again someday if only you leave the chance open.

Life is sometimes to be endured and sometimes appreciated

Faith is a curious thing, and its not always greatest in those who are the most demonstrative in their faith

Not everything that is good is beautiful, and not everything that is beautiful is good. What is good and valuable is not always visible to the eye. Also what is evil is not always ugly nor what is ugly is always evil.

I find that information, honest information, is the hardest thing to come by. People are unwilling to part with it as if it were gold. The other thing that is hard to find is true trust in one's fellow man

Nobility has nothing to do whatsoever to do with social class or lineage. It has to do with the heart.
The first characteristic of a noble person is a desire to be worthy of others.
The second in the aspiration to serve a higher cause.
The third is the acknowledgement that there are things greater that ones self and a willingness to give one's life for them.
The fourth is a loyality and devotion to one's personal ethics

We fear what we do not know, and do not understand. We should strive to remedy both these situations, and then we will not be afraid.

There are different ways to make a family. You can be born into one, or you can choose one. Bonds to the family you choose are often stronger that those you are born into, because you want to be, rather than have to be, part of each other.

A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.

Making the wrong choice is better than making no choice at all. You have to have the courage to go forward. A person who stands at a fork in life, unable to choose a path, will never get anywhere.
