I am a rational, sensible Dom searching for a committed slave. I have two traits that you will be asked to accommodate.
First, I am a sadist. This does not mean that you need to be a masochist (actually, non-masochists are welcome), but you have to be aware that your servitude will involve a significant amount of torture. Though you may not be a masochist, you must freely offer yourself up to it, as if you were giving something not connected to yourself.
Second, I will own you. This will not be a 24/7 ownership, we will not live together or even talk everyday. I am married and your presence in my life will not take the place of my wife, who is my equal. I will not attempt to control your life while I'm not using you. But when I make a demand upon you, you must be able to respond, promptly, fully, and with the appropriate level of fervor that characterizes any slave. I abide by a few limits (whether or not they are requested; we can discuss this during our contractual formation), but you should otherwise acknowledge that when given direction, you have no choices, no opinions, and no opportunity to consider whether you "want" to comply.
I recognize that some people will not deliver themselves totally and irrevocably without a trial period. Some Doms find this inappropriate, but I consider it mandatory.
I also recognize that some people cannot handle being owned or simply don't want to be owned. There is definitely a place for those in this lifestyle and I will not be critical. Submissives (as opposed to slaves) simply wish to retain some choices, and I encourage you to find a Dom that will provide the necessary structure for that form of submission.
