| At the heart of submission for many is a desire to be ‘seen’, for a girl’s inner core to be known, for her fragilities and failings, as well as her strengths and successes, to be acknowledged and held to the light.
This vulnerability, this exposure of her ‘truth’ engages a certain closeness, a bonding, and is eagerly sought by some.
Each girl with this need has a different path to follow to reach her true self.
This is something I have observed over time, and this journey is something I sometimes like to share with the right person, though distance and circumstance can make opportunity rare.
