Like most here, I am not a fan of trying to describe my entirety in a matter of a few sentences. So I have decided not to. Instead, I will give you a quick summary of who I am, what I am like, and what I believe.

To start I am a submissive male who is successful in his field. I understand what it takes to be a good leader, which I am professionally, and I understand that this is not who I am naturally or in my personal life. I prefer to follow, support, and help others. Making others happy and meeting their needs provides me with a great sense of satisfaction, especially when it is appreciated and acknowledged.

I am intelligent individual with a mind that thinks strategically. It is difficult for me to suffer unintelligent people and harder still to obey them. My hope is to find someone that is my intellectual equal or, better yet, superior.?It is inspiring to serve someone that can best me. Sadly, I struggle to find many who can.

My personality is one which is easy going, filled with good humor, and who is deferential. There are lots of things in this world that can cause stress, I work very hard at eliminating those things so that I can enjoy life. When there are things that cause stress, I tend to internalize them so as to not cause other people stress. Some would say this is unhealthy, but I find ways of alleviating the stress such as biking, yoga, reading, sleep. In so doing, I do my part in making the world less stressful. I like to laugh, ok not really laugh; rather smile/smirk. I try to find the humor in life and enjoy it as much as I can. There is no need to be negative or feel hopeless. Such attitudes sap life of its energy and kills those that embrace it and harms those that are close to it. My style of humor is one of mischieviousness. I admit, I find humor in the misfortunes of others, such as small children who fall down, Darwin awards, and harmless pranks. I know when my humor is successful, it is when I laugh. If other people don't get it, that is ok as long as I do. Two good examples of what I enjoy in terms of humor are found in the myths of the gods Loki and Kokopelli.?

Yet, despite these characteristics, I am extremely deferential. If someone exerts dominance, I am quick to respond respectfully. I want to serve. I need to serve. What it requires though is someone that respects me as a person, values my submission, but?is comfortable in taking command and clearly communicating what it is they expect and want from me. I see a D/s relationship as being a constant conversation with give and take but where the boundaries of that give and take are clearly defined so that limits are understood by me. I am capable of taking care of myself, but for me to care for the needs of a dominant, it requires me to know what she wants, needs, and expects.

To help with starting a conversation with me here are a few other details you may want to know. I am a geek. I accept and revel in that. Most things sience fiction related, I enjoy. I am a learning freak. I love watching shows about history and the sciences, and math. I enjoy sports, both playing and watching. I love gaming (aka an outlet for my competitiveness)?and testing my wits against others no matter the type of game often creating games in my own head that I play against unknowing individuals. I an a fan of NPR and listen to it constantly. Though that should have no influence on my political beliefs, I lean a bit left of center but in the ideal I dream of living in a world where I am the benevolent dictator. I enjoy travelling, art, and the outdoors.
