About me
I am fairly new to CM but I am not new to the lifestyle.
I have been exploring my interests in BDSM since I was 21 (on and off). As so many of us (that have been around for a while) can attest it is easy enough to get side tracked and find yourself living the vanilla life for a variety of reasons. However I will never make that mistake again. Vanilla just does not work for me. I am a Dom, I have always been a Dom and I cannot and will not pretend to be anything other than what I am ever again.
Of course day to day life and business require that I wear a different face during my 8 to 5 and spanking a sub in public can lead to problems so there of course will always need to be balance, however I will never again hide who I am from myself or my partner.
I love to write and some small bits of my hobby can be found here on FL.
I recently relocated from Michigan to California and I love it here. Everyday I do a little “No more snow!!” happy dance.
I am exploring with a new sub now and she seems to be a great person, eager to please/serve and we have a lot in common so wish us luck. :)
By day I am a Network Engineer and I love my work (most days) but I am not your typical computer nerd, as I came to that career in my late 20’s. Before that I was a truck driver, tree trimmer, construction worker, factory worker, hitchhiker and all around ne’re do well with an insatiable lust for life. The lust for life part has stayed with me and I am exploring that part of my personality to the fullest now.
I am trying new things every chance I get (I just recently became aware that I love avocados!!) and look forward to all that sunny California has to offer those who have an open mind.
My approach to the Dom/s dynamic is always evolving and is attuned to the individual sub, as I know that what may inspire growth in one sub may retard growth in others. I do not prescribe to a 24/7 approach because I believe that we all need time to relax and get to know each other both inside and outside of the Dom/s dynamic. I have my own way of doing things and if anyone disagrees with my approach they are free to do so, I always welcome constructive criticism, but if they are into egotistical senseless non-constructive criticism they can tell their story walking because I do not like dogma or cliques in any area of my life, let alone in my pursuit of discipline and domination.
I am a bit of a goof at times and do like to take myself too seriously (it is to tiring) so I am not for everybody. I love art, architecture, music (blues, rock, hard rock, classical, bluegrass…) the ocean, walks, comedy, movies etc… I love photography and love to take all kinds of pictures.
My passion is rope and I love everything about rope. I find working with rope soothing and it is my meditative outlet. I can have a very bad day, come home and whip the ends on new rope and my stress melts away. However I claim to be no expert and I am looking to learn new techniques all the time. So if you love rope like I do say hello, I am sure I can learn from you and maybe share some of what I have learned as well.
I am open and honest about who and what I am and I enjoy people who have that same self awareness and confidence but I do not socialize with inflated egos (in men or women) and do not engage myself in their delusion in any way shape or form. I just walk away. :)
I love to talk with new and interesting people especially if they enjoy sharing their experiences (past and present) so if you like to chit chat and discuss life, love and the pursuit of a good beating I would love to hear from you.
