Saturday Munch was a Success!
So usually my PVSC (Pomona Valley Social Club) Munch is held on Tuesdays, but since it was 420, and one of my favorite food trucks was going to be at one of the best local breweries, i thought why not? So i created a "Last Minute 420 Brewery And Brisket Munch" thinking, what's the worst that could happen?
The Munch went really well. Especially since i put it up so last minute! Around 20 people came. i was a little nervous about some of the people that were on the RSVP list (a Saturday event seemed to be attracting a very different crowd) but as it turned out, most of the people who came i know and consider as friends. And the few new people that came by were great additions and so nice to meet them all. (It was the first time at a Munch for a few of them!)
Seeing the amount of people that came by on such short notice, plus getting feedback from some Munch goers that i hadn't met or that don't make it out to the Tuesday Munch too often really cemented the fack that there IS a need for Munches and Socials in this area on the weekends! i will definitely be organizing more of them over the coming months.
