It’s hard for an educated woman to turn her head off. That’s part of the joy of being a submissive. None of the decisions are yours. When you can’t refuse anything and can’t even move, those voices in your head go silent. All you can do, and all you are permitted to do, is feel.
— CHERISE SINCLAIR, DARK CITADEL This describes me perfectly. I am submissive to my core. But that doesn't mean I'm a doormat. I am a strong, educated woman who is a business owner and entrepreneur. In my private life I need to let that go. I refuse to lead but I won't be lead blindly either. I have opinions and thoughts and will express them in a respectful manner. I am an extroverted introvert. When I'm comfortable in an environment I am funny, sassy, witty and outgoing but in a new environment I tend to be quiet, and shy. I love asking questions and learning about other people. Once I warm up to you, it's likely I won't shut up ;) My ideal Dominant is confident and has a strong personality. He is kind and thoughtful but not a pushover. He knows that as a Dominant he keeps my well-being at the forefront of his mind both mentally and physically. He will keep me accountable and while I am with him, he will make me feel like I'm the most important thing to him. Even if it's just a hand stroking my hair while we are together or with friends. My home life is complicated and he will understand that. I have been exploring my submission since I was a young adult. Left the scene for a vanilla life. But the desire to submit was always there. I've been on the fringes of the community for about 5 years and would like to meet new friends and become more involved as my life situation changes. I identify as a submissive with masochistic tendencies. I also love being silly and playful at times. I am kind, loyal and trustworthy and expect the same from others.
