I am a masochist first and foremost. I am a sensation junkie that likes to have my limits pushed. I am NOT submissive. I have no interest in submission. At all. Really! If you're looking for a subbie, I am not for you.
Collarspace doesn't have a choice for masochist so I put "switch". I am drawn to the "sm" more than the "Bd" part of bdsm. I love being on the receiving end of sado-masochism. I am not submissive or service oriented in other aspects.
It would be so much simpler if I could fit neatly into a category designed for someone else's convenience. I have compromised myself and my own needs in the past to please others and it just doesn't work for me.
I have been involved in BDSM for about 10 years on and off. I move away from it and inevitably come back. I love the usual implements of masochism... whips, floggers, etc. I have very much enjoyed other things such as needles and knife play and some edge play as well. I know there are many flavors of things out there I'd still love to try, and probably quite a few I don't have much interest in either (not super into rope other than as a necessity at times for instance -- it can be beautiful in pictures but not something I am drawn towards personally).

I believe in being positive and try to put out positive energy towards others. I also am not judgmental. I believe people need to find the path that is right for them, whatever that looks like.
I exercise and lead a healthy lifestyle. I do yoga and meditate. I am a very well rounded, educated person and enjoy intelligent discussion.
