It's a beautiful day on the ocean. Cape May is a distant slice on the western horizon. The sea is calm with a 3-4' rolling swell. Gannets are plummeting from the sky in pursuit of a meal. The sun high in the sky warming clouds to the south, white with gray bottoms. Best office in the world.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects." -Robert Heinlein

Though I lay the foundation and erect the pillars of our house, through your submission you maintain the structure of our vision. I give of my honesty, integrity, values and respect as I expect to receive. In fulfilling your needs I provide safe haven for heart, health and mind observing all hard limits. Conversely, I draw from your intellect and reserve just as I take from your body. It is my right. I claim your strengths and weaknesses for my own, nurturing and cultivating the entirety for the betterment of our lives.

Many times I've gazed upon the silver moon full above the horizon wondering what lovers have done the same. A spirit who understands thought and feeling coursing through mind and body. Your eyes on the same suspended orb. Hearts in tandem linked by love, desire and destiny. Reflections of lessons learned through a life sailed on a sea of souls guide me. I navigate no longer on uncertain tide and fickle wind. Gliding swiftly over a dark shimmering bay, soft sand at last heaving silently under keel I've come home to you.

Happy New year! May happiness find you with one who binds you or with the one you've bound May sting of whip and bitten lip bring pleasure all year round To those who serve on bended knee and them who take their pleasure may you find joy and love with latex glove, knotted rope or caning (for good measure.) A Happy end to a year gone by please let your hearts be lighter as you spank away this very first day of a future ever brighter!

I stole something from you today I held it close then walked away leaving you with no knowledge of my greed I watched you live as you do full of life and happiness but just for a moment I took pride in you and loved you all the more I should have revealed myself but wanted something of you knowing I'd secreted it away The love we share will be ours always but that stolen moment from the pages of your life will be mine forever Oh how you glow

She's been here before, this place that holds her soul. Stone walls rotating slowly, her head back she's lost within her mind. Dim light casts a warm shadow of her suspended form against the stone. Pain is a lost sensation. There is only the comfort of the ropes as she drifts along the grey. Such a liberating sensation is floating, allowing mind and spirit to wander free. Eternity beckons here.

Baby steps she whispers. After I've run so many miles. The starting line a dim memory in a jaded mind. Such naivete. Her smile warms me in the way of past loves long remembered as a younger man. Dark eyes sparkle with discovery, her enthusiasm a contagion that infects my soul. To lead, teach and trust once more .

The Philosophy of Eating Animal Crackers When I was young animal crackers were a treat. Caged behind a Barnum and Bailey facade was a flour, sugar and saturated fat menagerie full of possibilities. Jostled and tossed the box would eventually make its way to the table where the contents were spilled and overturned face up. The beasts of Africa, barnyard denizens and pets all had their place. There were also those who suffered packing maladies and mishandling woes. I never saw them as damaged so their dismembered torsos, decapitated heads and various appendages were gathered together in as neat a group as the others. Now those animals whole of body and spirit met various adventurous consumptive fates. They battled, galloped, stalked and even leapt their way into as fierce a gaping maw of death as a 5 yo could muster. Those injured in the process were retired to the "special" pile where attention turned after the last unfortunate whole animal warrior met its demise. In that jumble of body parts lay an imaginative gold mine for the cookie connoisseur. The much feared "Tigerphants", "Giraflions" (Prononciation fran?se naturellement), "Gorillagators" and a myriad of other terrible and awesome creatures came into being. Each inspiring in their own way, possessing strengths and weaknesses unique unto themselves. Never mind they met the same ultimate end as their more naturally formed cousins. That they existed at all was magical. Years later and in love with a wonderful submissive I think of those little red boxes and their contents. They were delicious, and presented a chance to create. An opportunity not to improve on nature more to enhance her original vision but where to start ? ....... Hears a whispered "open the box stupid." Yet its not that easy. The box is a vassal, it holds all that's inside and warrants examination first. Yep, its your typical box, four corners, a lid, dabs of glue tenuously binding the folds together. Here's something though, those animals behind the elaborately adorned cages, they have to represent something and this listing of ingredients...... hmmmm, there's information on substance here. Who knew? This isn't your BJ's brand of generic animal crackers in the gargantuan plastic jug. No Sir, this is the Real McCoy, a high calorie, sugar infused little box of joy that's gonna take effort and exercise after being consumed in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. No longer the impatient child I now take my time. I open the box carefully noting yet another layer of protection guarding the treasure within. Wax paper, very easily penetrated. Just poke something into it and tear it apart but then what happens? The contents spill and you have a mess to clean up off the floor, yeah that won't do. I'll get scissors and cut the glued top edge off then toss it! Nah, then I lose something. Both methods are too eviscerating. I'll explore option three which is to slowly pull the melted bonds apart maintaining the integrity of the original package. Its the box and the potential therein that attracts in the first place, why ruin it? At last, the box is open Wow, There she is! My own tiny cache of delicious sin (a nod and wink to the religious right) waiting to be directed, used, molded, taught and loved. So many possibilities! I'm a very lucky guy .. consume, consume, consu.... Wait, there's that damn box. Well I opened it the right way. Yes but what about the ingredients? They're different than mine and we've been baked in separate ovens. Its as they say, a hot mess in that box (though, I'm sure she'd disagree.) Time to analyze, prioritize, deconstruct and reconstruct my little menagerie. All of the animals receive attention. From the fiery, loyal tiger to the coy lamb and all manner of magical creatures in between are nurtured, guided, consumed and loved. Little did I know when I opened my first box .... I would one day with open heart and arms receive my last.
