I often feel like I'm stuck between two worlds as I'm not 100% vanilla or 100% kinky.  I'm learning to be ok with that because that's where I fall.  But it's really frustrating at times as I grew up in a culture where BDSM has no place but I've been inclined to it for as long as I can remember.  I had my first fantasy of being tied up and beaten when I was 13 but I still haven't experienced it for real.

So what does that make me? I'm not sure.  I wish I could say with absolute clarity that I'm a submissive or a slave.  I'm submissive but not passive.  I'm caring towards those around me but I still have an ego and sense of self.  I want to submit myself to the command of a dominant but I still want to keep my dignity.  That seems like a lot of contradictions.  But I'm honest, curious, and open-minded, which I hope is a place of substance to begin a journey from.

I'm an introvert and I can come off as reserved at first but I'm an open book once I feel comfortable.  

My other interests are photography and tennis.  I'm an amateur at both but I really enjoy them.  

I'm a believer of the Myers-Briggs test since I found out I'm an INFP and a lot of the described traits seemed to fit me well.  A curious thing was that I read somewhere that INFPs tend to be submissive and I've come across a few profiles where subs have identified themselves as INFP.  Just a thought.
