I'm not one for endless texting. I expect that if I'm connecting with someone we could talk on the phone and get to know each other better. And this should not be a difficult thing to do. I'm amazed at some of the games people play when it comes to this...asking to call and leave a message (what?), asking to talk on the microphone when they can't talk back, etc. Why is this so hard?
If you can't or won't be willing to talk at some point, then save both of us the wasted time and don't bother me.
