Actually a couple of things, I'm just ADHD like that. Friendship is something I value greatly. I don't have to share all of the same interests long as you have a compatible personality & we get along. Subjects come & go, but compatible personalities are forever.
Relationship Wise
I'm looking for someone that I can grow, explore, and enjoy the journey with to say it nicely. I'm a avid geek so I don't want to say being a geek is a requirement but liking geeky things (especially tech things) is a big plus for me. Lifestyle wise, I'm looking for the closest thing I can find to a pain slut, mixed in with some geekyness, & wrapped up in a bit of a fiery attitude. I do not want a door mat, I want someone with a mind that can hold a conversation with me on her own, laugh at my jokes & be just as sarcastic as I can be. I have no need for a doormat, nor a robot that I command without having to exert any dominance towards just because they want to be "controlled". My dating luck seems to be a bit like Geodi LaForge or Reg Barley ... To quote Geodi LaForge for a moment "I can field strip a fusion reactor, I can re-align a power transfer conduit, why can't I make anything work in a relationship.. Non-Kink Interests & Opinions
As stated before in the paragraphs above, I'm a nerd (The older style one, not the card playing, cosplay loving, girly man who can't use a soldering gun). I'm a very practical person, things that do not seem useful to me don't really interest me. My creativity seems to always keep me drawing on a napkin, on a legal pad, or sketching my ideas out on some sort of media for future use. I'm a very homely person but I do enjoy getting out with friends, going to a movie, exploring on occasion given the mood to do so, just average running around, getting away from the house types of things.
Musical tastes for me are mostly open, I don't judge music that actually has lyrics. Country music is where I really draw the line on my understanding. I hear too much of it around here & most of it I wouldn't have listened to in the first place given the chance. You will find me listening to classical, classic rock, alternative rock (rock of any kind really), some techno, indie bands to list a few.
