I'm kinky, imaginative and enjoy exploring new experiences. I love costumes and role-playing, bondage and erotic torture. Although I may try at times to hide it, I tend to be a bit brainy and never do anything by half-measures. Of course, this may put some of you off, as I may demand the same focus and excellence from my partner as I do for myself during a scene. I love the sound of screaming , (pain or orgasm - both are delicious!), and the tannin-smell of leather stores..... The flip side of this also reveals a caring, sensitive man who has had his share of troubles and grief, but who is resolute in seeing the bright side of life. Send me a note and lets see if there's any chemistry. Also: No Bullshit here, life's too short with too much around already. Besides, head games are MUCH more fun when part of a Scene, don't you agree?

Yes, I'm married, yes were polyamourous, no this doesn't mean we're swingers, it means that we don't subscribe to the idea that jealousy and the passive-aggressive BS that usually accompanies it, are appropriate things in a loving and committed relationship. It also means that we don't believe that a single partner has to be able to fulfill all the wants and needs of the other. It's more about the relationships than the sex. Sex is nice, but it's the gravy, not the meal.

Greetings and Salutations from Daytona Florida!  (Yes, you read that correctly.)  I moved here, to "the shores" a little over a month ago and already have enmeshed myself in the local (and not so local) fetish communities.  So, in order of chronilogical experience:  My love to the Daytona Munch community, the VIPER community of St. Augustine, and Club Fem of the same.  Soon to add The Woodshed community to this list of thanks and admiration.  Thank you all, ever so much for your (at times quite warm, indeed) Southern hospitality!

Alas, alack a day!  Due to current financial disparities, I'll not be going to Thunder this year after all!  You may ask, "Whatever shall you do?"  The answer: I've found myself in a catalyst of the Juneau kinkster society! (or so it seems.)  Apparently there are quite a few around here "firmly ensconced in thier closets".  Apparently, by getting selene involved with S&M activities, and by openly communicating the desire to have sane, consentual pleasurable activities of an erotic but not necessarily sexual nature, the word has gotten around that we are the people to contact!  Three months in, and now we two have become involved in a polyamorous relationship involving three other women and another man.  (All who have varying degrees of relationship with eachother as well.)  More kinksters crawl out of the woodwork every week - it's very exciting!  Selene and I will be hosting our first fetish play party on Tuesday, and it looks like it could be quite fun.  The first ever Juneau munch may happen sometime this Summer, if I can get it organized.  So, Thunder may be out this year, but it might be because next year, there will be a "Kinkster's Karavan" coming instead.  By the by, kudos should be given to ~youngashara~ who keeps in touch with me every so often.  She's such a sweet, and wholeheartedly lovely girl, she should be hugged at every chance.  I know the next time I meet her, she'll be getting a warm, friendly and thankful greeting indeed!  As to the polyamory, I found the book "The Ethical Slut" to be most helpful.

So here I am at the Doubletree in Omaha, typing away at the keyboard and waiting for noon to roll around so I can get my rental and room reservation.  It's been an interesting trip from Juneau...

Wait, let me start from the begining:

Airline tickets from Juneau to, well, pretty much anywhere, are pretty expensive.  Starting at $700 for a round trip coach and working thier way up from there.  So I flew into Seattle airport and met a family on that flight in that was from Kansas and had just spent the last three months in a place called "six mile" Alaska, subsistence living as part of a documentary for the Discovery channel called "The Alaskan Experiment".  It looks like he and his two daughters, like-wise, lost quite a bit of weight, and he having just recovered from a type of MS!
Anyway, I gave them free massages once we got to the airport (quick 15 minute jobs at a handy stool), and they signed a japanese buoy they had picked up as part of the flotsam, giving it to me as a souvenier.
8 hours of layover with that intercom system tolling through the airport every half hour about what was not allowed into the very terminal we already were in, and I was ready for the nice silent flight to Denver.  Not much sleep there, but a quick hop to the bus station and some napping on the bus bench before boarding for this last leg was...interesting.
So the bus very nearly got canceled because of the ice storm blowing down from the north, the first one never even made it to the station, so I got another that was bound through Omaha to Chicago.
So there in the back were the rear-facing seats and a very talkative bunch of truckers from all over, returning north and east after ditching thier loads at a truck yard in Denver.
Well, except for the guy with the "Tom-tom" and his partner who had driven from So. Cal. and returned a thouroughly icy car to the rental for a ride on the relatively warmer bus.
Marvelous, here's a shout out to ya!  And Tom-tom, you too!  The third was a thouroughly taciturn, yet talkative individual from North Michigan who might be a police officer soon.  Interesting take on things, no matter what's said, you seem to take it as a one-upmanship challenge.  I did quite enjoy your BS.
Soon enough, I'll be getting my car (only 5 more hours!) and then going off to see my pop.  Haven't seen him since last summer...or the summer before that.  One of those.  Anyway, Here I am in Omaha for the next two weeks.  Wonder if I can make some new friends in the scene around here.

Been awhile since I've updated this, hasn't it?  Halloween was a blast - I was a Satyr (LadyofLight thanks for the initial idea).  Furry pants, nubs of horns, ponyboots, the works. (All home-made: fun!)

Played the bottom that night to my recent paramour, Selene.  It's rather fun introducing this world to a dabbler and dreamer.  She's so naturally a sub in both inclination and reaction - we'll have been together two moons as of tonight.  It was my idea, my will as her Dom that she hold the lead and I be the one following.
She was, of course, dressed as the Goddess of her namesake and one myth was reenacted that night. (With some artistic license)

I'm eating the "vanillaville" comment made some months back, already, I've become involved with Selene and met two or three others who are members of our community living here in Juneau.
   Ah, well. C'est la vie.

If only a fetish support group could form here as they have in every other capitol city down south!  A club play area with proper equipment wouldn't be far behind, I think.
It might even be therapeutic if SAD lights were somehow involved.  Hmmmm...

As an aside, it seems Payless shoes in the nugget mall has a rather interesting inventory of fetish shoes.  I've been aquiring a few pairs for the use of my sub and I - interesting the number of size 10-14  women's shoes available!
(equates to size 12-16 men's.  That's some big women!)

The one thing I regret not revisiting is the Netherworld Cafe in Downtown Denver.  The goth heart for most of the metro area.  Would've loved soaking up the vibes of that place for a night or so, maybe getting down to a club to hear the newest remixes and cherry-pick with the kiddies.  Two ways of retaining youth: 1) Eat enough preservatives and you'll live forever  or  2) Continue associating with the youthful in body to keep the mind and spirit from calcifying.  (and no, I don't mean from all the preservatives)

Headed up through British Columbia and the Yukon, hitting many stretches at 120+ MPH, (course in Canada it would most likely be termed 180+ KPH), on up the Al-Can Highway -which needs a racing rally for iron-man bicycling something awful-  and got on the ferry from Skagway after touring the tourista places and NOT buying more than $30 of magnetite ovoids at the "interesting minerals" shop.  (They really are fun little toys, should do interesting things to piercings when hooked up to an open circuit...)

8/23/2006 8:59:43 AM
Went dancing later that night at some gay bar she knew, I did my interpretive spasm on the dance floor (we white boys can still move gracefully even if we don't have a clue what we're doing).  I was hard to miss - had a black musketeers hat (sans feather, thank you very much) with me at the time.  We drove home in a drunken stupor and saw her off at the airport next day.  Her underwear moel was CUTE!

8/23/2006 8:54:36 AM
So my sis and I (and her boy), drove back to Alaska from Denver, taking it easy and only driving 8-10 hours a day.  Went about 4200 miles by heading due west through Reno, taking in a Napa valley wine-tasting, then twisting and turning up along the pacific coast highway to Seattle where we stayed with a friend of my sisters, caterwualled at the Bus Stop (Karioke)
-OK, I really stuffed a rendition of "Sweet Dreams" but my sister has the voice of an angel, so I caterwaulled and she got an encore.  Everyone's got thier strengths and weaknesses.-

8/23/2006 8:48:43 AM
One particular bit of fun was seeing many of my friends from the Denver scene there. Man, I really do miss hanging out down at the Harbour (Now Sanctuary) and soaking up all that good energy and bonhomie.  I'm definately staying for the entire event next year!  Gotta soak up enough to tide me over back in vanillaville (aka Juneau).
Ha!

Thunder was awesome.  Admittedly, I had to leave early and missed the fashion and talent shows, but councilman Murphy (who passes Murphy's Laws) decided to have life intrude and so it goes.  Still, I had a BLAST!  Next year, I'm thinking of bringing a fetish-version costume of a satyr for play.  It should be fun.  Oddly enough, Google seems to be a bit skimpy on the mythologicaly sexy costumes I want to use for ideas... oh well.  Right now the idea has a "SkinTwo" feel to it, but I'm sure it will evolve like all the others.

It's official!
I'll be going to Thunder in the Mountains on Friday and saturday of next week.  Black and silver will be my colors and I hope to see some of my Denver friends (Maybe even another grinning Alaskan or two, who knows?) enjoying the displays dungeons and seminars.  It's just going to be good, clean, kinky, dirty fun - I know it!

On another front, I'll be returning to Juneau by August 10th or 11th.  One can only stay away from one's demanding clients for so long, eh?  (I'm just kidding - you know I love it)

Colorado Ren Faire this weekend.  What?  Of COURSE I'll be going in costume!  Never anything by half measures, after all...  no, not scag drag this time, dearies - scared a few children last time with my bewhiskered "maid marion".  Apparently it's poor taste for Robin's sweetheart to wear a codpiece...

No, this time it's no gender bender - strict pants and drawstring shirt.  I'm going through another longish haired phase and it's much better to play the rogue I am than hide it.  Who knows? maybe I'll spell some of the wiccans at the booths and give them freebee massages in return for accented conversation...  Anything's possible.   (case in point: Mission Improbable III came out in theaters.)

Barmy Bob:
The Quite Masculine,
yet ever so Humble

Until next time, i bid you adieu
