Update...
Good news.Now able to walk,in fact I can`t keep her in her chair.Now able to read after not being able.Almost no mention of pain,where is was 24/7 before.And less sadness. |

Well,I`ve brought my mom here to live with me.
She`s wheelchair bound and suffering from dementia,which is getting worse.She also suffers terrible painful spasms which come from nowhere.
Had to rebuild my bathroom to make it safe for handicap folks.
I haven`t had a full night`s sleep since she moved in.Uhhg! |

Been away helping my dad after he broke his hip and my mom,who broke a vertebrae.I haven`t had any time for myself or my pleasures.Life`s getting in the way.

rosie`s discovered fetching at the dog park.At some point she`ll pick one of many tennis balls and drop it at my feet.I got a "chucker" that let`s me throw it clear across the park.After a 1/2 hour she`s bushed.
buster is getting old.I have to help lift him into the car.He can`t jump it anymore. |

Well,she`s gaining weight and looking much healthier.She was at least 25 under when I got her.She`s still slim and lanky and will probably stay that way.
The training is working.She`s submitting to me without hesitation now and is calm and happy.
She loves to play w/ buster and has livened up his old bones.He`s got a buddy now and they pack perfectly when we walk.I`m pleased.
She can run like the wind.Long strides and speed.Wow.
She can also jump quite high.At the dog park,she`ll run along one side of a dog and jump to the other side and back,all the while moving.She`s a hit with the other owners.
She also instinctively protected me from another growling dog the other day,by placing herself between and barking hard.She`s a good girl. |

I`m walking her in the woods for a hour plus everyday, which has really helped .
Last month she was all over the place,now she`s heeling perfectly and walking calmly next to me.Quite an improvement from the jumpy scatter brain she was.
The training is also helped with her separation anxiety.So far the last few times I left her alone,she just sat calmly.Hoping that`ll continue.

Just got her "fixed", she`s feeling a little slow.Had her 1st drink in 36 hours and few handfulls of dry food and some cheese.
She`s really hating the cone around her head,but hasn`t tried to scratch it off.Nine more days of that.
I got a med packet for when the vet administered pain-killer wears off.
She`ll be back to her old self in a couple days.

Just picked up a rescued pup.
I`m calling her rosie,til something better pops up.
She was neglected, is 10-15 lbs.under-weight and skinny as hell.Her spine, as well as her ribs really pop out.The vet says she`s ok though,just needs a loving home.
Super sweet and shy,she`ll train well and will soon feel confident,at ease and owned.
Her pix are up,she`s the black rottie mix.
