Yeah right. I wonder when the poet wrote these trite words, if he ever really loved, deeply, completely, and with passion. What did he lose? What the hell does he know about it?
I think perhaps, that a song by The Kinks summed it up better by far....

The world we live in can be a strange and wonderful place. A thing as simple as a smile from a girl can lift you out of the pits of hell, and remind you that it feels good to be alive. The sound of a childs laughter can erase your worries and remind you to take delight in the simple pleasures of life, and that if you like something, you can always ask "Again?" and see if you can give it another go.
Sometimes we forget what matters most.. I was reminded.

I have known for a while that it is the invisible chains that bind the tightest. A heart can be bound up with a glance or a gesture more securely than mere steel could ever manage. The bindings grow slow and unnoticed at first, but soon they have you completely encased, safe, secure, bound. Struggle against it and it binds tighter.. accept it and you are freer than most will ever know... free to be the woman you were always meant to be...

Damn I need some Motorcycle therapy. Maybe a good dose of wind in my face and bugs in my teeth will help clear the mind and get my heart pumping again... Maybe its just cabin fever...
