I've always wanted to start my own off-grid community. My desire is to find land that is close enough to a city to still be connected to the world, but far enough outside of it so that I can see the stars at night. I've spent half of my life researching permaculture landscaping techniques, natural construction methods, and models of community development. At this point, I feel that I have about 2-3 years before I will be ready to start looking for land.
Thus far, I know a half-dozen people who are interested in starting this community. Have you ever imagined being part of something like this? |
